Millennials get credited for a lot of transformations in business today. Earlier generations would recognize differences in the work environment- like prioritizing work/life harmony over strict office rules. It just goes to show that this generation knows what they want at work and aren't assumed to pursue it!

A gig refers to any job done for pay period on top of regular day jobs, millennials are said to be turning to sidelines or part time jobs out of passion or to supplement their finances.
